Build confidence, find your voice and learn to lead. A practical day for young people aged 16 to 25 in Birmingham.
Leadership is not about a job title. It is about the confidence to speak up, bring people with you and turn good ideas into action. This workshop gives young people the chance to practise those skills in a supportive, energetic setting.
Throughout the day, participants work in small groups with experienced mentors, plan a real community project and leave with a clear next step.
Interactive sessions rather than lectures, with time to practise every skill.
You have something you want to change or start, and want help making it happen.
No experience needed. If speaking up feels hard, this is a safe place to practise.
Students, apprentices and young workers who want to grow their skills and their network.
Already helping out in your community? Learn how to lead a project and bring others along with you.
Timings are a guide and may change.
We are looking for volunteers with experience in leadership, community work or business to support small groups on the day.
